Cork Wall Tile ยท Harmony
These striking and sustainable 12" x 24" cork wall tiles are produced by Jelinek Cork Group, a company founded in 1855 that works to promote the use of environmentally friendly, sustainable and renewable products in the construction industry.
These tiles come in three thicknesses (1/8", 1/4" and 1/2"), with either no backing or self-adhesive backing. The 1/4" tile is appropriate to use as a tackboard; the 1/2" tile is rated as an acoustical tile.

Size & Thickness Info
These cork wall tiles come in three thicknesses: 3mm (1/8"), 6mm (1/4") or 13mm (1/2").
3mm is the equivalent to thick wall-paper. 6mm and 13mm work well as push-pin boards. The 13mm tiles also have excellent acoustical and insulating properties, and can be used effectively as acoustic wall or ceiling tiles, or to aid insulation.

Optional Self-Adhesive (PSA) Backing
For an easy application, tiles can be purchased with PSA backing. This strong self-adhesive backing will allow you to peel-and-stick tiles directly to your wall, or a piece of plywood.
For a more permanent solution, it is recommended to purchase the non-PSA backed tiles, and use a water-based contact cement onto both the back of the tile, and wall substrate to allow for permanent adhesion.
About Cork
Harvested from the Cork Oak tree's bark, cork is one of the more sustainable insulating materials. Its natural properties make it anti-microbial, anti-fungal, non-off gassing, without harsh chemical smells, and its production creates no toxic by-products.
Variation
Due to the natural characteristics of cork along with variations in monitor displays, color of tile may vary slightly from the image on screen. It is highly encouraged to purchase samples for color and thickness testing.
